{February 27} Okay, so we have this thing that Aaron Johnson came up with called the MVP. No one really knows where it came from, but he decided once to nominate David for the day’s MVP because he did well. Needless to say, it has continued each day. Thus, we arrive at today’s MVP: Benjamin, for his brilliant work on our song today. He got in the zone and wouldn’t get out. It was sweet. Our engineer, Paul, whistled him to keep going after one take, and it started. Ben was in the zone and he played about five takes perfectly. It was great. Mike Flynn, our other producer, was dancing in the control room. We’d never seen that before. It made us happy—but slightly concerned at the same time. Mike doesn’t usually show emotion. We may have been part of something big.
